Mikayla's Story

🖤 My handmade art gives us a connection to our animals on the other side until our souls are reunited.

🤍 Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I worked my dream job at an animal shelter. I specialized in being a mommy to the most vulnerable orphaned furbabies by fostering them. Wherever I went, they went too, just like my human baby does now.

💜 I always followed my strong intuition about which animals were meant to be in my care outside of the shelter walls.

💛 It is inevitable that some physical bodies born to this Earth are only meant to be here a short while.

🩵 If an animal told me that they were going to cross over soon, I would take them home with me and make sure they had full, warm tummies and knew they weren’t alone as they passed away peacefully.

🩷 In this new family season of my life, I hope to spread the love and celebrate the sacred bond between pets that have crossed over and their humans left behind with these memorial creations.
